Commercial Concrete
Commercial concrete services for small business, access, utility, and site needs.
We handle everything from parking areas and loading docks to equipment pads and ADA-compliant walkways, sized and reinforced for the daily wear commercial properties see in South Jersey.

Built for Commercial Use
Commercial concrete takes more punishment than a home driveway — delivery trucks, forklifts, dumpsters, and constant foot traffic. We build the base and mix to match that load instead of treating it like a residential job.
We scope every commercial job around your operating hours where possible, sequence the pour to keep at least one access point open, and give you a written timeline before work starts.
Replacement or New Installation
If you're replacing cracked or settled commercial concrete, we remove the old slab, haul it away, and check the subgrade before anything new goes in. New installations get the same subgrade evaluation, so the pour isn't just covering up a problem that comes back within a year or two.
Either way, we scope the job around your business hours and give you a written start and finish date before work begins, so you know exactly how long the area will be out of service.
Base, Grading & Drainage
Commercial slabs fail early almost every time because of a shortcut in the base, not the concrete itself. We excavate to the proper depth, compact a stone base in lifts, and grade the site so water runs away from the building instead of pooling on the slab.
Where drainage is a known issue, we can add drains, swales, or a slight pitch in the finished surface to move water off the pad and away from doorways and loading areas.
Thickness & Reinforcement
A slab that only sees foot traffic doesn't need the same thickness or reinforcement as one that sees delivery trucks or forklifts every day. We size the slab thickness, rebar, or wire mesh to the actual use of each area of your property.
Getting this wrong is the most common reason commercial concrete cracks and settles early. We'd rather size it correctly the first time than come back for a repair job in two years.
| Application | Typical Thickness | Reinforcement |
|---|---|---|
| Sidewalks & walkways | 4 inches | Wire mesh or fiber mesh |
| Parking areas | 5 to 6 inches | Rebar grid or wire mesh |
| Loading docks & driveways | 6 to 8 inches | Rebar grid |
Finish, Curing & Use
We finish commercial slabs with a broom or trowel finish depending on the area's use, then protect the pour while it cures. Curing time depends on the mix and weather, but we'll tell you exactly when it's safe to walk, drive, or load the area.
Rushing a commercial slab back into service before it's cured is one of the fastest ways to damage a new investment. We'd rather hold a barricade up an extra day than have you dealing with tire marks or surface damage.
Cost Factors
Commercial concrete pricing depends on square footage, slab thickness, reinforcement, site access, and how much demolition or base work the site needs before we can pour. We give you an exact number in writing after walking the site.
Properties with tight access, existing utilities, or a lot of old concrete to remove will run higher than a straightforward open-lot pour. We flag anything that affects cost before we quote the job, not after.
| Factor | What It Affects |
|---|---|
| Square footage | Total material and labor cost |
| Slab thickness | Concrete volume and rebar needed |
| Site access | Equipment, pump truck staging, and time on site |
| Demolition | Removal and haul-away of old concrete |
| Site prep | Grading, drainage, and base work required |
Why It Matters
A parking lot doesn't need to be treated like a garage slab, and a loading dock doesn't need to be treated like a sidewalk. We match the job to the actual use.
